Scientific Competition

If you are currently developing a research work in the biomedical field, do not miss the opportunity to present your work to world renowned scientists and young researchers!

With three types of presentation (Poster Presentations, Parallel Oral Sessions and Plenary Session), this is a unique chance to share science.



In order to take part in this competition:

Submit Your Abstract

You must submit your Abstract from the 1st of March to the 15th of May 2024.
Make sure you read our Abstract Submission and Presentation Policies & Procedures before submitting your abstract. They will be available soon.

Evaluation

Your work will be evaluated according to a set of rigorous criteria to ensure the highest quality of the accepted projects.

Participate as a Presenting Student

If your work is accepted, you may participate in the 19th YES Meeting as a Presenting Student and have a chance to win over 7.000€ in prizes!

SHARE YOUR WORK!

Selected Presenting Students will have the opportunity to have their abstracts published in the 19th YES Meeting Abstract Book.

Clinical Competition

Whether you come to the 19th YES Meeting as a Presenting or a Non-Presenting Student, you will have the opportunity to participate in our Clinical Competition on Thursday, September 19th!

Our Clinical Competition Policies & Procedures will be available soon. More information will be provided then.



In order to take part in this competition:

Listen to the Clinical Cases

The session will consist of a presentation of curious clinical cases, alongside multiple choice questions that will pop up in your smartphone.

Answer as fast as you can!

You should answer the questions correctly in the shortest time possible. The person with the highest number of correct answers in the shortest time will be the winner!

Prizes

Genuine and groundbreaking scientific research must be rewarded for its relevance in shaping the face of scientific knowledge as we know it.

The winners of the Scientific and Clinical Competitions will be awarded during the Award & Closing Ceremony, taking place on September 22nd.
